The Ida Cason Callaway Chapel is a charming and intimate chapel located inside Callaway Gardens near Pine Mountain Georgia. This is one my my most favorite places in the world to sit, relax, and just meditate. I've visited this chapel many times and photographed the inside and outside and never get tired of visiting. The stained glass windows represent the four seasons. During the day you will also hear a guest organist playing the pipe organ which echoes throughout the wooded area and lake. If you're ever near Columbus Georgia this is a great place to visit.

Nestled in a serene forest surrounding Falls Creek Lake, the Ida Cason Callaway Memorial Chapel was carefully planned by Cason Callaway himself as a tribute to his mother. Inspired by 16th-century Gothic chapels, it is highlighted by a variety of materials native to its region, including fieldstone quartz. Beautifully crafted stained glass windows depict pines, soft woods and hardwoods, as well as the Southern forest in a progression of seasons. The majestic sounds of the chapels custom-built Miller pipe organ ring out during seasonal concerts. Today, the chapel is used for small weddings as well as a Non-Denominational Service each Sunday morning throughout the Summer.
